Our programs:

Hunter from Above
Learn about hawks, eagles, owls, and falcons through a live bird of prey presentation.  Our wildlife rehabilitator will discuss bird of prey adaptations, predator/prey relationships, specific characteristics of these magnificent birds and their natural history. Also covered will be the personal histories of the birds of prey presented and how we rehabilitate injured and orphaned birds of prey.

It's Cleanup Time
Learn about the important role that animal scavengers play in cleaning up our environment.  Our wildlife rehabilitator will introduce our native vultures, opossum, and other amazing animal scavengers through live animal and slide presentations.

Critters and Creatures of Virginia

This program provides an entertaining look at the animal life of our state.  It includes the habits, habitats, diets, and interesting stories about our native wildlife.  Our wildlife rehabilitator will also present information on how we rehabilitate injured and orphaned animals, and will be assisted by a couple of our animals ambassadors.

Our Wildlife Ambassadors

These are animals that could not be rehabilitated and released back into the wild due to the extent of their injuries.
Instead they have stayed at our center to act as wildlife ambassadors who teach the importance of preserving wildlife and wildlife habitat.
