Assisting Native Wildlife   Northern Saw-whet Owl

The Blue Ridge Wildlife Center is a non-profit wildlife conservation and rehabilitation organization that provides assistance to native injured and orphaned wildlife and offers helpful information to the public. We serve the Shenandoah Valley and Northern Blue Ridge region of Virginia including Clarke, Frederick, Warren, Shenandoah, Fauquier and Loudoun counties.

The well trained staff and dedicated volunteers of the BRWC provide assistance and rehabilitative care to over 600 injured, orphaned, and displaced native wild animals each year. We answer thousands of calls from the public, animal control officers, animal shelters, veterinary hospitals, and the police, and protect the community by rescuing wildlife in need of help.

In our area hundreds of native mammals, birds, reptiles, and other animals are harmed by human activities each year and the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center works to assist these animals and return them to their native habitat, while educating the public about the importance of preserving wildlife and how to enjoyable coexist with the wildlife around us.

If you find wildlife in need of help or if you need assistance with wildlife encounters please contact our wildlife center at 540-837-9000 or email info@blueridgewildlife.org.
