RELEASES The best part of our job is releasing rehabilitated wildlife back into their habitat. Red tailed hawk released after surgery repaired a fracture of its wing. ![]() Orphan river otter released after being raised at the Blue Ridge Wildlife Center. This red shouldered hawk was rehabilitated at our center in 2006 after being injured by a truck. She came back a year later when another accident had fractured her leg. She was successfully rehabilitated and released again. |
